Nancy Heisey, PhD
Vice President and Undergraduate Academic Dean
Nancy Heisey is professor of Bible and religion and also vice president and undergraduate academic dean. She joined the EMU faculty in 1999 following a distinguished career of administrative leadership with the Mennonite Central Committee. A former president of Mennonite World Conference in 2009, Dr. Heisey has been a prolific writer and speaker throughout her career. She earned a BA from Messiah College, an MDiv from Eastern Mennonite Seminary, and MA and PhD degrees from Temple University. Learn more

David Glanzer, PhD
Graduate Dean
David Glanzer is professor of counseling in the MA in Counseling program and also the university graduate dean, working with the provost’s office to oversee graduate council and EMU’s growing number of graduate programs, not including seminary. Glanzer earned a BA from EMU and his MS and PhD from the University of Utah. Learn more

Michael A. King, PhD
Seminary Vice President and Dean
Michael King is a long-time writer, editor, publisher and pastor from Telford, Pa., and also the seminary vice president and dean. He provides leadership and oversight to all seminary programs and faculty. King earned a BA in Bible and philosophy from EMU in 1976, an MDiv from Palmer Theological Seminary, and a PhD in rhetoric and communications from Temple University. Learn more
