My favorite intramural season:

My favorite intramural season is volleyball. I used to play in high school and now I can join a team and play for fun. It is a great time to meet new people, and play volleyball without having to practice every day.

My favorite residence hall:

My favorite residence hall is definitely Maplewood. I lived there for my first two years and I enjoy the interactions with the girls on the hall, which makes it feel more like home then a college dorm. I loved living in the woods because there are always people around and activities to join in.

My cross cultural experience:

This past fall I went to South Africa/Lesotho with Harland De Brun, Audra Baker, and 24 students. Our trip consisted of three home stays in different areas of South Africa. The first home stay was in Soweto, a township outside of Johannesburg. From there we traveled to Lesotho, a small country inside of South Africa, and lived in a small village. After a week of free travel our group came back together to start out last home stay in Cape Town. This trip was full of learning about the history of South Africa, getting to know my new host families, and focusing on my relationship with God.

My favorite campus activity:

My favorite campus activity is going to the campus movies on the weekend. I really enjoy this activity because the movies are chosen by the students, and the movies are new releases. I also love the campus movies, because it’s only $1.50!
