My favorite residence hall:
I live in Elmwood this year—and I have to say that it is an AWESOME residence hall! I love the people here.
My cross cultural experience:
I haven’t gone on my cross cultural yet, and probably won’t for another year or two. I am looking at South Africa for my cross cultural option.
My favorite reason to get off campus:
I leave campus at least once a week. I love going home to get a meal cooked by my mom, or just hanging out with other friends and family.
The most surprising thing about EMU:
I’d say the most surprising thing is that it is VERY different from high school. I have so much more free time…...to do my homework, or meet new people, or just hang out. I came from a private Mennonite high school and found more differences than similarities. I am even from Harrisonburg and when I am on campus I feel like Harrisonburg is far away.
