My cross cultural experience:

I haven’t gone on a cross-cultural yet, but I plan to go to Guatemala in the Spring of my junior year.

My favorite campus activity:

My favorite campus activity would have to be either Campus Activity Council (CAC) movie nights or hanging out in Common Grounds Coffeehouse.

My favorite class at EMU (and why):

My favorite class so far has been Anabaptist Biblical Perspectives: Old Testament Themes.

My favorite EMU memory so far:

One of my favorite memories so far is just hanging out with friends. I remember one time in particular when there were seven people piled in one bed, and we were all just laughing and having a great time.

My favorite intramural season:

I don’t think I have a favorite. I like floor hockey which is in the fall, but I also like volleyball and dodgeball which are in the spring.

My favorite reason to get off campus:

My favorite reason to get off campus is most definitely home cooked meals followed in close second by going to the mountains to hike.

My favorite residence hall:

I would have to say that so far my favorite residence hall is Elmwood. It’s a fun place to be, and it seems like there’s almost always something to do.

The most surprising thing about EMU:

Since I’m from around here, I think the most surprising thing for me has been that I can make this as far away from home as I want. For instance, there is such a variety of churches in this area that I don’t have to go to my home church if I don’t want to, but at the same time, I live close enough that when I need to get off-campus, I’ve got a place to go.
