My favorite campus activity:

My favorite memory of EMU so far was when I came as a prospective student in January of 2006. I had so much fun. We went to Cold Stone’s, and around the mall. Then late one night we played sardines and had a mud fight. It was very memorable and soooo much fun! I will remember that day for many years to come!

My favorite campus activity thus far in my EMU experience is Celebration which is Sunday nights at 9:00 pm in Martin Chapel. I love the music they play. It is very upbeat and I feel like I can really connect with God when I am at Celebration. It’s a lot of fun!

My cross cultural experience:

I will be going to the U.S. Border and Guatemala in the spring of 2008. I love to travel so I am very excited to do this. The cross cultural program was one of the deciding factors for me to come to EMU. I hope to also go on either the summer or semester cross cultural to Spain and Morroco also. Traveling to as many places as I can will be amazing experiences for me. I love traveling and experiencing new cultures so when I found out that it was a requirement to graduate I said “sign me up!”

My favorite class at EMU (and why):

My favorite class at EMU so far was Exploring Teaching. I had the awesome opportunity to spend several weeks in a first grade classroom and in a second grade classroom and had the time of my life! It was so much fun and i was reminded once again why I major in elementary education and why EMU is the best school to pursue my dream of teaching at!

My favorite intramural season:

My favorite intramural season is basketball. I have played basketball since like junior high and I have always really liked it. So I love going to the games on cheering on the royals!
