My favorite campus activity:
Sunday night Celebration is a wonderful experience of praising God with more than 50 people who all love the Lord
My favorite EMU memory so far:
hanging out with friends in Commongrounds; drinking smoothies and eating muffins or scones while listening to music.
My favorite intramural season:
Floor Hockey whether I’m watching or playing
My favorite class at EMU (and why):
I would have to say it was Intro to Sociology with Vernon Jantzi. He’s an amazing professor and friend, just an all around fun person and never made a class session boring. I never felt like falling asleep when I was in his class.
My favorite reason to get off campus:
Contra dancing at the Dayton Learning Center would have to be my favorite monthly activity. Lots of friends from EMU come and I get to meet people from JMU as well.
My favorite residence hall:
Elmwood or Maplewood
The most surprising thing about EMU:
It may be small but it’s a wonderful place all around. I’ve never regretted the decision to attend a school 13 hours away from home because of the people whether they are students or faculty and because of the beautiful living environment. It has all made me feel so welcome and comfortable.
