Why I chose EMU (twice)

I originally came to EMU because my dad and siblings had attended here. At the close of my first year I decided to leave and try something new. After spending a year and a half at Goshen College in Indiana I found myself missing the community I had found at EMU and ended up transferring back. EMU’s small size allowed me to get to know my professors on a personal level, develop wonderful relationships with my peers, and get involved in things outside of my major (i.e. cross country and track and field). Coming back to EMU was the best decision I could have made.

Favorite things to do in the Shenandoah Valley

Driving and running on the beautiful country roads, hiking, and eating at the different ethnic restaurants around town. Learn more about life in the Valley!

My favorite EMU memory

Running cross-country and track & field my senior year.

What some of my EMU friends are up to at the moment

Teaching in the local schools, volunteering in different cities around the U.S. and India, working with disabled adults, and attending graduate school.

Anything else you should know about me?

I have curly hair.
