Why I came to EMU

It was the only Mennonite University at the time.

What I learned (outside of the classroom) at EMU

How much friends make a difference in my life, how to handle the ups and downs of life, and how to cook (sort of).

If I could enroll now what would I do differently

Be less locked into a major and take more course that interested me.

Advice to students looking for a college

Get a feel for the campus with a visit and talk with other students. Find a place where you will be challenged to grow.

Favorites

What some of my EMU friends are up to at the moment

Social services, real estate, business owner, nurse, grad school and doctor.

If I were Herm (EMU mascot) for a day

I would drive a convertible for the day because people would just stare at a big blue animal driving a convertible.

What I look for in an EMU student

Passion - someone who wants to change the world and has the courage to go after it!
