What is Parent Council?
EMU parent council functions to assist you the parents and the university in making EMU an enriching experience for you and your son or daughter. Parent Council members meet three times a year, oncei n the fall and twice in spring.
Goals are to:
- provide opportunities for parents to counsel and advise the university on academic, social, religious and financial issues
- create a support group for parents
- cultivate communication between parents and faculty and administration
