2008 honors youth musicians’ program
for talented high school and college string players...
Each year the Bach festival offers an educational program for selected young string musicians to gain invaluable experience playing in the Festival Orchestra alongside professional musicians from Virginia and beyond. The opportunity to perform in a professional orchestra is rare for young musicians and provides a unique learning experience.
This year’s interns will participate in two concerts during the annual Bach festival: Friday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday, June 14, at 7:30 p.m. (See the entire festival schedule.)
