Elaine Zook BargeElaine Zook Barge, M.A.

Elaine directs the STAR Program (Seminars for Trauma Awareness and Resilience) at EMU which draws together persons from over 60 countries to study trauma, violence, conflict and communication.  She has worked for 20 years in leadership, relief, and development in the U.S. and Central America.

Susan Landes BeckSusan Landes Beck, M.S.W, L.C.S.W

Susan has served various organizations in management and leadership roles and currently directs marketing at EMU's Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. She brings her experience as a mediator, trainer and facilitator of organizational conflict, including work as a psychotherapist with individuals and groups.

David BrubakerDavid Brubaker, M.B.A., Ph.D

David is professor of organizational studies in EMU’s Conflict Transformation Program. He has 20 years of experience in workplace mediation, training and organizational consulting. David brings significant management experience, including serving as executive director of an community development organization.

Allon LefeverAllon Lefever, M.A.

Allon has been involved in starting over 20 private and public companies and has served on over 40 boards, ranging from public Fortune 500 to community service boards. He has 37 years of experience from Wall Street to directing the EMU MBA program, senior management leadership, profit and nonprofit business, startups and mergers.

Edgar MillerEdgar Miller, M.A.

Edgar is a professor in EMU’s Adult Degree Completion Program. Edgar is a graduate of both JMU and EMU, the latter being where he now teaches courses in marketing, organizational development, leadership and supervision, human resource management, and business ethics. Edgar has held leadership positions in various companies and currently is the is the general manager for Truck Enterprises, Inc.

Tim Reubke Timothy Reubke, M.A.

Timothy is the executive director at the Community Mediation Center in Harrisonburg. He has extensive experience directing group planning and decision-making, mediating and facilitating conflict and dialogue in the community, family, workplace, multi-party, and criminal justice arenas.

Nancy Good Sider Nancy Good Sider, L.C.S.W, Ph.D

Nancy is associate professor of trauma and conflict studies in EMU’s Conflict Transformation Program. A mediator and therapist for more than 30 years, Nancy is a partner at Newman Avenue Associates where she works as a mediator, organizational consultant/trainer, and licensed psychotherapist.

Cheryl Talley of JMUCheryl Talley, Ph.D.

Cheryl is an associate professor of psychology at James Madison University. Dr. Talley uses insight, humor, professional and personal experience to facilitate discussions on diversity and help leaders move through conflict to create unifying frameworks to accomplish an organization’s mission.

P. Marshall Yoder P. Marshall Yoder, J.D.

P. Marshall is of counsel to Wharton, Aldhizer & Weaver, P.L.C. where he practices in the areas of corporate, estate planning, and collaborative law.  Marshall is an adjunct professor in EMU's MBA program where he teaches corporate governance and leadership.
