EMU is a place where students, faculty and staff talk with each other about how their walk with Christ affects every day choices about the food they eat, how they travel, their imprint on the environment, the clothes they wear, their political views... everything.

It’s social justice. It’s peacebuilding. It’s living as Christ modeled.

At EMU you’ll learn from others through the community learning program, study abroad or in other cultures in the United States, in the classroom and over coffee. You'll have a chance to get to know people of other denominations and faiths.

Here students are prepared to “do justice, love mercy and walk humbly with God” (Micah 6:8). They study in a global context to go out to offer healing and hope in a diverse world.
