Julia Spicher Kasdorf’s third book of poems, Poetry in America, was published by the University of Pittsburgh Press last year. She is also the author of a collection of essays, The Body and the Book: Writing from a Mennonite Life and the biographical study, Fixing Tradition: Joseph W. Yoder, Amish American. She is Professor of English and Women’s Studies at the Pennsylvania State University, where she primarily teaches poetry writing.
