The Youth Orchestra concert on March 24 at 7 pm will begin with the 13-member Junior Strings ensemble, conducted by Sharon Miller. The group will play two pieces.

Then the Shenandoah Valley Youth Orchestra with 40 instrumentalists will perform under the direction of Maria Lorcas. The Orchestra’s program includes Vivaldi’s “Summer” from The Four Seasons featuring high school senior violinist Nathaniel Oberholtzer, the first movement of Lalo’s Symphonie Espagnole featuring high school senior violinist Mariette Southard, Wagner’s Overture to Rienzi, Washburn’s New England Holiday and Marquez’s Danzón No. 2.

Admission is a suggested $5 donation that will directly benefit these groups. Come hear these talented students!
