Book Launches for Jay and Peggy Landis by Language and Literature Dept

Where Campus Center, 103, Brunk-Maust lounge

Duration 1 hour 30 minutes

Peggy directed career planning and student life at EMU for nineteen years and is longtime activist in the Park View Congregation, and Jay taught English, speech, and interdisciplinary studies courses at EMHS and EMU for fifty years (and that’s an EMU record that just might never be broken!).

A memoir and cookbook celebrating Shenandoah Valley life as well as international friendship, Peggy’s KITCHENARY will delight readers with a wide range of interests. VERSE ASSIGNMENTS‘ poems reflect Jay’s rare blend of literary seriousness and “lightness of being.”

At the launch, they’ll each read excerpts and offer books for sale.
(Signed copies would make wonderful graduation, Mother’s Day, and Father’s Day gifts—and Christmas isn’t far away)
