This joint concert will feature both the Concert Choir and the Shenandoah Valley Youth Orchestra.

The 35-member Youth Orchestra will be conducted by Rhonda Stees. The group will perform: – The “Egmont” Overture by Beethoven – Concerto in E minor by Vivaldi, featuring Senior cellist Caleb Schrock-Hurst – Carmen Suite No. 1 by Bizet – The Lord of the Rings by Howard Shore, arranged by John Whitney

Orchestra members are from the city of Harrisonburg, Rockingham, Augusta, Shenandoah and Page counties and West Virginia.

A $5 donation is requested that will benefit scholarship students in both organizations.
