College Life
What a blur these past few days have been! The summer has finally ended. No more having to work!
Though the Friday and Saturday before I was supposed to move in consisted of a quick trip to Canada for a wedding, I came home and packed up the van, excited to move back down to Virginia. It was time to start my second year at EMU.
I moved back into the dorms on Sunday and have been going non-stop since. It’s been great catching up with friends that I haven’t seen for the past four months and talking about everything that happened over the summer.
Settling in ...
I started unpacking and settling into my room. Though it took two days and lots of help from friends to get everything unpacked and into place, it got done. So the day came for classes to begin and the homework to start piling up.
After having four of my six classes, the school day was over. I had survived! I always feel overwhelmed when I’m handed six different syllabuses’s for each class that has all of the work that we will be covering for the next three and a half months. Oh well, there’s no turning back now.
I think this will be a great semester and the best part; I don’t have any 8 a.m. classes! Though this is a start of a new school year, it felt like I was returning to my second home.
