It’s hard to believe that fall break has come and gone already! That means that this semester is halfway done! Time just seems to fly by.
The week before I left for fall break was BUSY. I had a couple of huge exams that I had to take and I felt like all I did was study. A few times I felt like just shutting down, but I made it through. It always ends up being okay and somehow you survive.
Home sweet home
The day finally came for me and four of my friends to head up to PA for break. I was looking forward to some home cooked meals, shopping, and NO HOMEWORK!! It’s not like I have a huge amount of homework during school, but sometimes you just need to take a break.
So up to PA we went. We made it there in good time and were so excited to be home for a while. My mom had some snacks for us and we sat around and talked for a while. Exhausted, we headed to bed.
Saturday we decided to go to Rockvale Outlets to shop. I LOVE to shop so I had a great time. The other girls did too, although I defiantly bought the most.After shopping and touring around Lancaster we headed back home.
My mom had an excellent meal prepared for us and topped it off with home-made apple and pumpkin pie. Afterwards some of the girls headed off to Souderton to visit boyfriends and my friend Amy and I rented a movie and had a girl’s night in.
Time to relax
Sunday and Monday pretty much ran together. We just relaxed and attempted to do some homework. We also did more shopping. Oh how I love to shop! Monday night the other girls came back from Souderton to spend the night at my house again. We had a great time eating, laughing, talking, and just hanging out.
Tuesday we started our day early, at least early for us, and were on the road by 9:30. We made it back in decent time and were able to unpack and relax and some of the girls even attempted to get more homework done before everyone else came back.
It was nice to be home and just take a break from school work, but as always it’s nice to come back and get back into college life.
