Happy Thanksgiving!

Mmm, Thanksgiving! I love this time of year. Good home cooked food, fun times with family, and good sales going on! Not to mention the holiday spirit in the air and the fact that we only have two more weeks of classes and then one week of finals. Then we’re done!!

This weekend I went and saw the play “Halcyon Days” which was performed by EMU students. Everyone did an excellent job and though some of the talk was over my head, I thoroughly enjoyed myself. Afterwards I spent some time hanging out in Common Grounds with friends.

Midnight Madness

At 11, my friend Rachael and I decided to head over to the Midnight Madness Volleyball tournament. We didn’t join a team (we’re not that great at volleyball :-) so we went and supported our friends by watching them play and cheering them on. They ended up winning the tournament!

After watching for a while we decided to play some pool in the game room and then decided to go back to the dorms to head to bed. It had been a long day and I was ready to catch up on some sleep.

Saturday was a lot of fun. I had to take some perspectives back to the airport but I was back in time to watch the end of the Ohio vs. Michigan game. Then I grabbed something to eat and headed to the men’s basketball game. It was close but we beat the other team, 77-73!

Girl's Night

Afterwards some of my friends and I decided we wanted to have a girls night so we bought some Oreo’s, headed up to the Northlawn lounge and popped in the movie Sleepless in Seattle.

Sunday was an exciting day for me. It started off with church and then of course homework. At 6 a bunch of the girls from my hall and some of our other friends headed over to the mall to shop. It was special because we had to buy a ticket (proceeds went to charity) and then you wore a wrist band that allowed you to shop. They had great sales and lots of free samples!

Let it snow!

Now we’re heading into Thanksgiving! Bring on the good food, family, and hopefully SNOW!

be you
