Two More Weeks!

So here it is, the last week of classes and one week of finals. Looking back it’s amazing how fast the semester actually went, although while going through it I thought it was going so slow.

People are trying to finish up last minute projects and start writing the papers that are due in a week, even though they’ve known about them all semester.

Luckily the end of the semester only means a few final exams for me. Most of my projects were due a few weeks ago, so I’m not as stressed out as some of my friends.

Semi-Formal

Despite the end being near and all the projects, reports, papers, and exams building up we are still finding time to do fun things. For instance, last Friday night was the CAC’s semi-final dinner and dance. A bunch of my friends and I got all dressed up and had a great time eating and dancing.

Another way we tried to stay stress free was by decorating our lounge. My dorm had a contest to see who could have the most decorative lounge, and the floor that wins gets a dinner in our RD’s apartment! Yea! No café food that night. We decided to do a live nativity scene for our lounge, and we won! :-)

Everyone's Sick!

Even though friends of mine are sick with colds, pink eye, and a bad cough, as well as being sleep deprived, we still stay up late and watch movies or play games or hang out in the game room. Just the other night we watched A Christmas Story to get in the spirit for Christmas!

So here we go, our last week of classes. Once we get through that and finals we get to go home! (Now if only it would snow!)
