Wrapping It Up
“I’m going home!” That’s what I keep hearing around campus now that finals are almost finished. Too bad some of my finals are on Friday, the last day of finals week. I would love to go home early as well, but I’ll be home before I know it.
Another semester finished
It’s hard to believe a semester has come and gone already. So many things have happened, so much has changed, and so much is just starting. But college isn’t over; it’s only on hold for a month. Then we come back and have to start all over again.
It’s a great feeling packing up some of your things for a month and being able to go home and not have to worry about any school work. That’s one of the things I love most about college, when you have Christmas break you actually have a break from everything.
Bon-fire with Friends
My last weekend here was a lot of fun. Friday night my group of friends had a huge bon-fire at one of the guy’s aunt’s house. It was great, we were able to set off fireworks, eat smores, and just spend time with friends. Of course some of the guys got the brilliant idea to jump through the fire…but luckily that didn’t last very long.
Saturday was my friend’s birthday so a bunch of the girls went out to eat. Afterwards we came back and watched a scary movie. It was great to just hang out with friends and put off studying for finals a little longer.
Merry Christmas!
It turned out to be a wonderful weekend to wrap up the semester, especially since it is my last weekend here until I come back from cross cultural in the spring. Now we can all head home and look forward to family, presents, vacation, and whatever else might be in store over the holidays!
