Learning How To Swim

Pretend for a minute that you are out in the middle of the ocean with no life raft, a million floating seagulls for company and no dry land in sight to tan on while napping. This scenario is the equivalent of my second semester of college. The lack of life raft is the lack of sleep, the seagulls are all the papers I have to write and the need of land is the need for a break from swimming before I start to drown.

Don't think this is a negative analogy because it's no where near it. It represents how busy I never expected to be this semester. College so far has been an amazing, exciting, overwhelming, crazy and unbelievable experience.

I have met incredible people, had soul searching classes, been swamped with paper writing and chapter readings, and have had a blast along the way. I hope all of you diligent readers of these student journals are anticipating reading my blogs as I am about writing them.

Now all of you go outside far away from this computer screen and do something exciting! Have a marvelous day! Peace.

be you
