The saga continues...

February 28, 2006

Second semester is rolling along smoothly, and things seem to be working out well classes wise. Recently, one of the students on a study abroad program from EMU had an accident, so I know the whole campus has been in prayer for her. We were all relieved when we recieved word that she is doing well and has begun recovering.

As a result, we've had a substitute in our Spanish class, which has been both challenging and enriching at the same time. I never realized how much I become used to a particular teacher's style, and with my prof gone I've had to get used to some of the other professors modes of teaching and speaking spanish. This is also a good experience for me, since I definitely will have to be able to understand various spanish speaking peoples in the real world!

We recently had one of the EMU perspective weekends, and there were lots of visitors from all over. I got to meet up with an old friend of mine, and so it was really cool to talk to her, as well as getting to meet some of the other great perspective students.

With the weather somewhat melancholy, albeit quite chilly, I decided to take some random pictures around campus for you guys to enjoy, so here you go!
