Aquila and Priscilla Partners

Aquila and Priscilla are known as mentors who guided young Apollos, a teacher in the early church (Acts 18). Their encouragement helped to launch a gifted ministry, building on his previous enthusiasm with a more adequate understanding of "the Way of God."

By joining this circle of Seminary Fund supporters, you are assisting in the training of leadership for the churches in the 21st century. The seminary is able to commit substantial amounts of financial aid to students who are devoting themselves to serious preparations for ministry and have often relocated their families in order to attend school. We are eager to maintain our ties to you and to our churches, for they are truly a lifeline for our work in this part of God's kingdom.

Your acceptance of this invitation is a pledge to be a prayer partner, an advocate and to make a financial commitment of $1,000 or more annually to the work at Eastern Mennonite Seminary. (A minimum of $500.) This is not a legal obligation, but a commitment that will be honored, as you are able.

Your encouragement in prayer is needed on a regular basis as professors and students engage in worship, study and reflection on the tasks of ministry. We will keep you informed of specific seminary community needs.

Eastern Mennonite Seminary will pray for you, our partners, and your congregation regularly in our chapels. We invite you to share specific needs with us.

Ways to Make an Aquila and Priscilla Gift

There are multiple ways to give as an Aquila and Priscilla Partner. Here are some options:

• once a year, with cash or gifts of stock, in the month of your choice
• twice a year or quarterly; we can send reminder letters to you in the month(s) that you prefer to give
• A secure online giving form is available for one-time credit card donations, and with a few additional steps, you can set up a monthly donation to EMU via a credit or debit card
