Counselor Identity

Internalizing a professional counselor identity involves a certain character, a high level of personal maturity, and advanced interpersonal skills and attitudes in working with clients and colleagues. The experience of identifying the various dimensions of counselor identity is, indeed, a part of your journey. We seek to help students uncover and develop their own special and unique gifts.

Community Counseling track is accredited by the Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) and certified as a training program for the American Association of Pastoral Counselors (AAPC). For more information, contact the American Counseling Association.
