The Master of Arts in Counseling program at EMU strives to achieve the highest standards of professional excellence in providing psychologically and spiritually grounded training for counselors. We seek to create a community atmosphere within the program, a community bold with creative ideas and open with honesty, partnering in the inner work counselor training requires.
Inclement Weather Policy
When it is snowing, school cancellation will be announced on radio stations, WHSV-TV and the EMU website. (It has happened very seldom - only when sidewalks are not passable.)
Sometimes our faculty will need to cancel a class even though the university is open. If that’s the case the faculty will notify the Administrative Assistant and a message will be put on the voice mail at the MA in Counseling office.
