Walt came to EMU with nearly 30 years of experience as a professional economist mostly with NERA Economic Consulting where he performed quantitative economic analyses mostly in support of clients engaged in litigation. His work included analysis of firms and markets and calculation of business damages in a number of different industries. Walt retired from NERA at the end of 2005 and began a second career in higher education at EMU. He teaches courses in information systems, project management, economics, quantitative methods and research methods and statistics.
