POSITION: Human Resources Representative

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required or relevant human resources experience

Experience: Must have proficient computer skills including Microsoft Word and Excel. Human resource information system (HRIS) experience desired. Experience/ability to generate reports using various databases is helpful. Applicants must be self starters, have excellent organization and communication skills and be capable of working independently. Applicants must have the ability to keep information confidential and be supportive of the mission and vision of Christian higher education as expressed and carried out by EMU.


RESPONSIBILITIES: The human resources representative will work collaboratively with the members of the human resources department. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: maintaining the HRIS, recruitment, new employee orientation, benefits, employee relations, performance appraisals, employment surveys, and employee training.

POSITION DETAILS : Full-time position. Remuneration and benefits commensurate with education and experience.

BEGINNING DATE: January, 2010
