Master of Arts in Counseling
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Full-time, continuing faculty position in Counselor Education with expertise in mental health counseling. Teaching graduate level counseling courses, student advising, university service and ongoing professional experience/scholarship.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Earned doctorate in Counselor Education or a closely related discipline. Equivalent of three years full-time clinical counseling experience. Virginia licensure or licensure eligibility. Graduate teaching experience. Ability to teach Assessment preferred.

EMPLOYMENT TERMS: Nine-month contract. Salary and rank determined by education and experience. EMU uses an extended-contract system.

Position begins August 11, 2008. EMU reserves the right to fill the position at any time or keep the position open.
