POSITION: Head Women's Volleyball Coach

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required or an equivalent combination of knowledge, skills and experience that equates to a degree.

Experience: Minimum of successful high school coaching required. Collegiate coaching preferred with recruiting experience.

Special Skills: Skills required include recruiting, practice and match planning, teaching volleyball techniques and strategies, relational and communication skills with college students, administrative and budget operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES: The head coach is responsible to coach, direct, recruit and administer the women's volleyball program along with other duties as assigned by the Director of Athletics. He/she must be committed to the values and mission of the university and operate the program in adherence to the rules and regulations of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference and Division III of the NCAA.

POSITION DETAILS: The head women's volleyball position is half-time. Efforts will be made to add an additional position or responsibilities from within the university based in a candidate's interest and skill set including the position of Head Men's Volleyball Coach. Start time is negotiable.
