The Information Systems staff is here to provide support and access to superb electronic communications and computing resources.

Our offices are in the lower level of the Campus Center and the primary way that you can contact us is through the Information Systems Helpdesk. Our hours of service are 8:00am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday.

Floppy disks are becoming increasingly more unreliable. If you are on campus you should always save data to a network drive. If you wish to transport information try using a USB flash key. These devices are relatively inexpensive and can hold much more data than a floppy disk. Contact the Helpdesk if you need assistance connecting a new flash key.

Saving passwords in a web browser may make it easier to surf your favorite websites, but it can lead to unwanted security issues. InfoSys recommends that you do not store passwords for EMU related websites, as well as any sites that contain sensitive information about you or your family in your web browser. Storing passwords on a sticky note attached to your monitor, or in another easily viewable location, is not a practical solution. Passwords should be stored in a secure environment that is not easily accessible by others.
