Calendar Server Offered by Info Systems

Information Systems is pleased to announce the availability of a calendar application for faculty and staff. The Calendar provides a place for you to manage your own schedule from anywhere Internet access is available, and collaborate with others. Additionally, handheld computers (PDAs) may be synchronized with Calendar.

One-hour training sessions begin on March 1, and will be held in the LTC in the basement of the Library. Please contact the Help Desk (x4357) to sign up. Department heads were recently invited to have their departments trained as a unit. If that is the case for your department, please attend that training session instead of one listed below.

Schedule for Mar. 1 through Mar. 12
Monday Mar. 1: 2:00 p.m. (No session on Mon., Mar. 8)
Tuesday Mar. 9: 12:05 p.m. (No session on Tue., Mar. 2)
Wednesdays: 9:00 a.m.
Thursdays: 12:05 p.m.
Fridays: 9:00 a.m.

* Access Calendar from any Internet-connected computer

* View others' calendars (requires permission from the calendar's owner)
* Allow or restrict access for others to view or edit your calendar
* Invite others to events, and track the responses
* Schedule events with others based on when they have free time
