If you are a regular email user you have probably recently received email messages claiming to be from reputable financial institutions such as eBay, PayPal, CitiBank, Bank of America and others with the email content “alerting” you that you need to “verify” your account information. You can be 100% certain that this kind of an email message is bogus and that it is one of many very clever “scams” that are now appearing regularly on the Internet.
