Just Hit DELETE to Phishing Scams

The level of cleverness and sophistication continues to rise for stolen identity (phishing) scams. This past February we posted a notice on the EMU IS-Connection (news) page, in which we outlined the general kinds of scams that were being used at the time to induce computer users to unknowingly provide private personal information to thieves on the Internet. We are posting this article to again remind all EMU computer users to constantly be on the alert for new ways the data thieves may be using to get you to give them your financial account information and passwords.
