Computer Configuration Recommendations from the EMU IS Department:

  • Processor: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.2 GHz or higher
  • RAM: 2 GB or higher

Sophos Anti Virus

Sophos Anti-Virus is an application distributed by Eastern Mennonite University that can provide automatic anti-virus updates and protection to any Internet-connected Windows computer. The terms of EMU's license agreement with Sophos, Inc. allow this software to be used by EMU faculty, staff and students on EMU-owned and personal computer systems--including systems used at home. All other uses are strictly forbidden. Questions about licensing terms or the technical details of Sophos Anti-Virus should be addressed to the Helpdesk.
