The Hartzler Library collaborates with the faculty and students in the educational mission of Eastern Mennonite University by efficiently:
- building a collection that supports EMU’ s academic goals
- providing easy access to these resources
- promoting the library’s resources and services
- preserving sources for original as well as secondary research
- teaching how to define, locate, and evaluate needed information
