The Brunk House on Mt. Clinton Pike houses the Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR) program, which integrates material from trauma and resilience studies, restorative justice, conflict transformation, human security, and spirituality. It was created with faculty of EMU’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) in the wake of Sept. 11, 2001.
