University Commons

The University Commons is a focal point on campus, housing three athletic courts, the campus bookstore, the Royals' Den snack shop, and much more.

Student services located in the University Commons include the international student services office, multicultural services, campus ministries, health and wellness suite, career services, counseling services, university accord, housing and residence life and the physical education department.

The University Commons promotes health and fitness to the EMU community by providing programs and services such as the fitness center, recreational sports, health services and the atheltics program.

The renovation of the Student Center has added drama facilities as well as the visual art and communications department. The project has strengthened EMU's academic program in theater, one of the university's newest majors. The University Commons provides a centralized location for drama classrooms and offices, as well as EMU's first facility designed specifically for stage productions.
