Eastern Mennonite University is a four-year Christian liberal arts university steeped in the tradition of the Anabaptist peaace tradition. Nestled in Virginia's Shenandoah Valley, EMU offers more than 50 programs of study and prepares students to "do justice, love mercy adn walk humbly with God" (Micah 6:8). EMU professors challenge students academically in close mentoring relationships, educating them to serve and lead in a global context and follow Christ's call to witness faithfully, serve compassionately, and walk boldly in the way of peace. Cross-cultural study is a graduation requirement, offering students life-changing opportunities to view the world through new lenses and build relationships with people from other cultures.
