Forty-eight members of the full-time student body are men, 24 are women. Twenty-three of these students are under the age of 26; 21 are over the age of 40.

Of the 45 new students beginning seminary studies, five are 2003 college graduates and 32 are Mennonite.

Fifty-nine students are studying toward the three-year master of divinity degree. There are 17 women in this group, five of them new this year, and 11 new men students. Two of the new women students and six of the new men are age 26 or younger.

Six of the seven students enrolled in the master of arts in church leadership program are women; three are new women students this fall.

The master of arts in religion program has five students enrolled. The one-year certificate program has one new student.

"I'm delighted with the quality and quantity of students who have chosen to study here," said Ervin R. Stutzman, seminary dean. "I believe that the church will be well served by these dedicated men and women, many of whom make genuine sacrifices in order to pursue God's call on their lives."
