Webster Contreras, Class of '08, hopes to be a nurse practitioner, anesthetist or radiology specialist.

EMU nursing grads are generalists who function in a variety of settings with a focus on individuals, families or groups of clients. Teaching faculty provide students with knowledge as well as compassion and empathy.

Approved by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education, EMU's respected nursing program is known for producing more than 1,200 nurses with marketable skills and caring hearts.

More than 90 percent of EMU's nursing graduates are working in a field related to their major six to 12 months after graduation.
