Programs of Study

Major

The psychology program lays a foundation of general, developmental and social psychology before developing specialized topics such as applied behavior analysis. The program includes opportunities for participation in internships, research and methodology courses.

A bachelor's degree in psychology prepares you for a variety of careers that relate to people. Or, you may go to graduate school to study in a more specialized area of psychology. For additional information about a psychology major, see the Course Catalog

Minor

A psychology minor covers the same basics as the major without the specialized topics and supplemental experiences. This minor complements other people-oriented professions such as medicine, business, church ministry and education. For additional information about a psychology minor, see the Course Catalog
