Eastern Mennonite University

ONLINE REGISTRATION

As a senior, you may opt to register early for your spring semester courses by using CampusWeb. You will be able to log on to CampusWeb from any computer with internet access and register your courses instead of waiting in line at the Registrar's Office.

Registration will open on CampusWeb on Thursday, April 3 at 9:00 a.m. This is two days before seniors may register by bringing their registration card to the Registrar's Office in person. Once these "head-start" days are past, registering through CampusWeb will not give you any priority over students who are registering by bringing their registration card to the Registrar's Office… so it is still important for you to register early in the week to avoid closed classes. Web registration will close at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9.

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Meet with your advisor(s) prior to April 3 to plan your course schedule. Be sure your advisor signs and dates the fall section of your registration card, which you will turn in to the Registrar's Office after you register online.

2. Log on to CampusWeb. CampusWeb will open for registration on Thursday, April 3 at 9:00 a.m. It will close on Wednesday, April 9 at 4:00 p.m. If you have technical problems with CampusWeb, contact the Information Systems Help Desk at 432-4357 between 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Upon logging in, you will see a notice that informs you of the registration capabilities you have. If the notice does not indicate that you have drop/add access, it will indicate the reason your access is blocked. You will need to take the necessary steps to resolve that before you can register by any method.

3. Select your courses. Once you have successfully logged on, you will see instructions for adding and dropping courses. (See the Course Search instructions page for more information.) If you attempt to register for a course that carries stipulations you do not meet, you will receive an error message explaining why you may not register for that course.

Once you have added a course, you do not need to do anything additional to submit it or make it "official." It is "official" when it appears on your schedule as shown under the "My Schedule" link.

4. You will be able to waitlist into full courses by clicking the "Add" link next to the full course. After adding the full course you will see a notice indicating that you have been added to the waitlist and you will see the word "waitlisted" in the notes column on your schedule. Your registration will be dropped from any waitlisted courses that bring your total credits to more than 18 (an overload). Waitlists will be resolved by the Registrar's Office by April 18. You will be notified of the outcome and can change your schedule if necessary.

5. Print a copy of your schedule. If you would like to print a copy of your schedule, you can do so by clicking on the print link in the upper right hand corner.

6. After you have finalized your schedule online, bring your registration card to the Registrar's Office by 4:00 on Wednesday, April 9. By registering online, you take responsibility for any changes to your schedule from what your advisor approved. Your card must be submitted to the Registrar's Office to show that your advisor approved your course selection prior to your online registration.
