Earthquake in Haiti

The suffering of earthquake victims continues to draw prayer, donations and discussion from the campus community. Collections around campus and during athletic events total more than $5,600 as of Jan. 25!

Ken L. Nafziger, vice president for student life:

The EMU community is sending out prayers to the people of Haiti and offering ways for the campus community to support relief efforts in the wake of the recent earthquake there.

We have alumni and current students with connections in Haiti. We want to support and encourage them, as well as provide ways for all students to feel empowered to do something in what can feel like a hopeless time.

Our thoughts and prayers continue to be with the people of Haiti during this time.
