Exercise Classes

The Fitness Center offers a variety of classes in the Group Exercise Room. Classes are open to EMU students, faculty, staff and community members. Cost per class varies. For more information on classes contact the Fitness Center at (540) 432-4341, or email .

Spring Semester 2016 Exercise Classes

This semester we will be offering Yoga, H.I.I.T (High Intensity Interval Training), Total Body Wellness (Class designed on improving muscle tone with using body weight only), and Pilates classes. You can register for all classes online at the websites below or you can buy a day pass at the front desk.

A class designed yo improve muscle tone and overall fitness by doing exercises that involve only your body weight.

-Pilates

A practice that links movement with breath to create a continuity from one posture to the next. Accessible to all levels, expect basic standing and seated postures, strengthening and stretching poses.
