Global Village Curriculum

The Global Village Curriculum (GVC) is EMU's general education program, built around Micah 6:8 -- the call to "do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with God."

College Writing for Transitions

A brand new approach to introduce university life and learning, College Writing for Transitions will weave together discussion times, developing writing skills and beginning to ask the questions that make the university a place for engaged, relevant and creative learning.

Cross-cultural Program

EMU is one of the first universities in the country to require that students have a Cross-cultural experience as part of their education. Cross-culturals provide students a chance to see from another perspective and learn from people in places like Guatemamala, the Middle East, India, and South Africa. Take a look at upcoming programs and think about where you would like to study!

Majors and Minors

Once in classes, many students gain new ideas about the majors and minors that they would like to study. Check with the Career Center and the Registrar's office about how to choose, change, and make the most of your major.

Catalog

You should have a hard copy of the course catalog for the year. It can also be found online at emu.edu/catalog.
