At the academic support center at EMU you’ll get free help (schedule through ASC Tutoring) with all of the following: study skills, time management, test-taking skills, course specific remediation, reading and comprehension skills, writing skills, and basic math.

Tutors and staff work with honor students or conditionally admitted students… we are here for everyone. Be one of the growing number of students who are studying together and improving their grades!

Writing is central to EMU’s core curriculum, and tutors in the Writing Program can help guide you in the writing process, tutor you in the best ways to recognize your own errors, and help you become your own best editor!

Open daily 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday during the academic year offering free tutoring services and instruction by appointment or walk in. Hours for graduate writing support at Heatwole House are available on ASC Tutoring.
