Barry Hart

Learn to integrate trauma-sensitive theory and practice across all stages of emergency response and post-conflict contexts. Explore how psychosocial trauma/well-being can be creatively and constructive applied throughout your work and program cycle. Discuss the important ethical implications and best practices of this work. Participant and instructor will present case studies using trauma informed and sensitive interventions and discuss current situations that could use this approach.

This course builds on the instructor’s recent research on the integration of psychosocial trauma/well-being and peacebuilding and the long-term work of the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding STAR program.
