Peace Fellowship is having a discussion on the current prison system and why reform and restorative justice is badly needed in the United States today. Barbie Fischer, a graduate of CJP/EMU, will be leading the discussion. Barbie has spent over 10 years working in restorative justice including prison reform and the development of restorative re-entry programs for organizations working with incarcerated people. These programs have been focused on bringing support not only to the incarcerated person, but their family, the victim, and the victims’ families during the release process. Snacks will be provided!
