Sunday, March 22 at 4pm the The 16-member Junior Strings ensemble, conducted by Sharon Miller, will open the program with a piece by Mozart and Three Selections from Fiddler on the Roof. They will be followed by the Shenandoah Valley Youth Symphony, conducted by Maria Lorcas.

Youth Symphony Repertoire to include:
“Overture to Nabucco” by Verdi
“Violin Concerto in E Minor, 1st mvt.” by Mendelssohn (Soloist, Lillian Hughes)
“New Market, 1st mvt.” by Anthony Van Pelt (Youth Symphony Alum)
Winning Composition of the New Music for Young Musicians Composers Competition
“Russian Easter Overture” by Rimsky-Korsakoff

All Symphony Alumni and parents are invited to attend the concert and the following reception. Alumni will be recognized at the concert. Alumni should contact Maria Lorcas if they wish to perform in the concert.

There is a $7 suggested donation.
